Aramco Overseas Company B.V. were the main sponsors of the Aramco-Brits Reunion held at the Holiday Inn, Derby/Nottingham, Sandiacre on August 24 - 26, 2007. Their contribution to the reunion consisted of Welcoming Flowers for all the Ladies, the Buffet Dinner and a Commemorative Gift for everyone on the Saturday evening. The ladies received a bonbon dish and the men a weather station. Each gift bore the Aramco ensigna. Public Relations Advisor, Juvie deKoning, manned a stand during the evening giving out publications, music CD's and other giveaway items and Salah Al Masoud, Director of Industrial Relations, addressed the crowd with a few words on behalf of Aramco. Everyone expressed their appreciation of the very kind gesture by A.O.C.b.v.
Etvideo - a name synonymous with Eileen & Tom Henderson
( Hosts of Aramco-Brits Reunion) since they made a video about life in Abqaiq in 1985. The video took the Butlins Holiday Theme and applied it to Abqaiq and its residents. It was directed and edited by Tom while Eileen wrote and did the narrative.
Etvideo sponsored the prizes for the 1st. Aramco-Brit Invitational Golf Tournament and gave all the golfers a sleeve of balls, modified scorecards and guide sheets for around the golf course. A splendid day of golf was held by all.
